[Q] accessing web server of FileMaker

Does anybody have experience with accessing a webserver built with FileMaker Pro?
I really have no idea what goes wrong, and thus cannot advise the builder of  
the webserver what to adjust to make his server accessible for us OmniWeb  
users.
Some pages and forms display OK, but as soon as the server has to start a  
search to display the next page, I get a continuous repetition of this error in  
the console:

<OWHTTPSession: 0x284ffa4>: Caught exception Unable to read from socket:  
Connection reset by peer but interruptedDataStream is nil

which never stops, unless you hit the stop button. In the browser you see the  
messages 'Awaiting document from <hostname without .com>' and 'Loading Unknown  
Frame main:' alternating very fast.

What could be causing this?
