I'm doing some perl/cgi scripting and have found that OmniWeb 3.0b8b  
does not return linebreaks from within a  
<form><textarea>...</textarea> in a way that is consistent with  
either NN or MSIE.  A file that is generated simply by printing to a  
file the text returned from OW between the textarea tags results in a  
file which is one long line regardless of the original linebreaks.   
NN and MSIE preserve new lines.

I realise that it would be possible to write code that detects the  
browser type and determines whether or not to do the appropriate  
substitutions of line feeds and carriage returns, but it would be  
better imho to make the browser behave the same as those other  
browsers in this respect.
