omniweb license bug/problem

I cannot run Omniweb 2.x on more than one machine on my network at once.
I get a "too many users are already using omniweb" error.
Isn't my free license good for running one copy per machine?
This is true even if I use a seperate copy of omniweb on each local
disk and different users are using them.

Also, Omniweb 2.5 and 2.7b3 crash frequently, usually with a 
segmentation fault or bus error. I am running nextstep 3.3 (lightning 9i)
on NeXT hardware. I am using a ppp connection over a 28.8 modem. 
This usually (but not always) happens when omniweb has many processes active
and queued. One nice feature for future versions of omniweb would be a 
maximum number of threads preference to keep system and modem load under 
control.
