Hi OmniGroup,
Since I have upgraded from OmniWeb 2.7 beta 3 to 3.0 beta 7 I'm having
some problem to launch OmniWeb. OmniWeb 3.7 have been installed in a
/LocalApps/Internet folder.
I have to say that I'm running OS 4.2 on NeXT. That could explain why it
is darn slow to launch
- But it seems impossible to get OmniWeb 3.7 launched and the console
always print:
"Workspace: Cannot launch program: '/LocalApps/Internet/OmniWeb.app'"
- Then, It took about 10 minutes to register the bundles :
"Jun 21 12:54:21 OmniWeb[264] Thread checking enabled for NSView methods.
T should be disabled in production code. Ignore this message if you're an
end user. Everything is fine. We're all fine here. How about you? ***
Assertions are ON ***
OFBundleRegistry: Found /NextLibrary/Frameworks/System.framework (version
unknown) (no registratioBundleRegistry: Found
/NextLibrary/Frameworks/Foundation.framework
(version unknown) (no registrations)
OFBundring /LocalLibrary/Frameworks/OmniFoundation.framework
.....etc.......
Then after 15 minutes OW3.0 beta 7 is up and it run pretty OK. But
sometimes the console shows Overruns > "rec uart overun")
My question is :
Is it a problem of memory or bad location of the Apps and the Framework
(Omniweb Frameworks are located under /LocalLibrary) so that Workspace
took so much time to find it ?
Please tell me what's wrong.
