We fixed a bunch of leaks about a month ago, but it wouldn't surprise  
me if some have crept back in since.  When the code settles a bit more,  
we'll make a concerted effort to eliminate any remaining leaks.

Not really:  in fact, imaging is the least likely area to have leaks  
at this point (since it's been stable for a very long time), although  
we could have some leaks elsewhere that are hanging onto images.

Probably.  We had to implement all the pasteboard logic (copy, paste,  
etc.) from scratch for the new text view.  We'll try to track this down  
for beta 7.

Which images in particular?  Have you tried resizing the panel to be a  
little wider?  (We should probably make it a little wider by default.)
