Hi
I have a problem with submitting forms using https on OpenStep for mach 4.2. I
can view secure pages, but when I try entering passwords the servers don't
recognize my entries as valid. It worked in 2.x and it works in Netscape and
IE.
I've installed the new HTTPS bundles in the default installation path and they
seem to be loaded. I'm not using a Proxie server. I've tried two different
HTTPS sites.
Here's a few lines from the console:
Jan 26 12:53:07 SSL_connect:SSLv3 read finished A
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL connection to https://online2.matteus.se/cgi-bin/depa
Jan 26 12:53:17 HTTPSProcessor->URL: [{
__self__ = "<OWURL: 0x424330>";
compositeString = "https://online2.matteus.se/cgi-bin/depa";
netLocation = online2.matteus.se;
path = "cgi-bin/depa";
scheme = https;
}]
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:before SSL initalisation
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv2/v3 write client hello A
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv3 read server hello A
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv3 read server certificate A
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv3 read server done A
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv3 write client key exchange A
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv3 write change cipher spec A
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv3 write finished A
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv3 flush data
Jan 26 12:53:17 SSL_connect:SSLv3 read finished A
Thanks for any help on this. I don't like having to go to a IE4 machine to do
my HTTPS tasks.
