Bookmark checking

I do love the bookmark checking feature.
However I do have large bookmark files and I realized that when I was
loading my old bookmark files from OW2 into OW3 every single link got  
marked as new.

First idea: it is a bad idea to load about 400 links to uncheck them as  
'New'. I'd prefer a switch or menu item which let's me uncheck 'New'  
bookmarks without opening it.

Then I realized that I could try to apply different check time values to
different URL's (I never needed it before, but I'm going to like it very  
much). However, you can't apply it to groups of bookmarks, only to single  
bookmark entries.

Second idea: use the hirarchic bookmark window and allow applying a check
mode to a subtree (group of) bookmark entries. This one would be great!
