Problems with GIF animations

If you still want to have animated gifs then you'll have to take the
gif.omniweb from the 2.6b3 app wrapper and replace your gif.omniweb in
your new omniweb copy. The reason they pulled it was that the animation
was unstable, and would lock up the browser over time. Even if you surf
with your processes window open and stop the animations as you leave the
page. You'll end up with a few that will say that they're stopping but
never will and sooner or later you won't be able to continue to surf.
