broken GIF animation

We accidentally shipped a broken version of our gif animator in our last
release of OmniWeb (2.6 beta 3). I'd forgotten that I'd committed a
partially complete version to the head of our NextStep 3.x branch, and
Wim (who is working on 2.6) didn't realize it either.
Right now, our plans are to revert the NextStep 3.x branch to the normal
gif processor, and later port the final version of the animator from our
OpenStep branch.
Sorry for any confusion and hassle: the animator as shipped has a
number of very serious flaws. Probably the most serious (especially in
combination) are that it ties up a thread for each animation, and
aborting animations often fails, leaving you with a bunch of threads tied
up doing nothing until you quit OmniWeb.
By the way, the animations _will_ repeat if you enable them with "dwrite
OmniWeb AnimationDisabled NO", and might even be less buggy if you run
them that way. (By default, they're disabled, but clearly not as
disabled as they should be.)
