Cmnd+Drag?

Wil -

Command-drag an image and you can drop it on IconBuilder or the  
Workspace or whereever.

 I cannot seem to get this to work correctly - well, at all really.  Hmmmph.  Sounds like the cat's meow, but all I get are black arrows...  Unless I go into an open Edit doc.

Any ideas?  I am using Beta-2.
