omniImage and suffixes

I changed my default for openning .jpg and .gif files from  
ImageViewer to OmniImage.  However, when I double click on such a  
file both apps launch.  This is a case problem.  The default for  
openning .JPG files is listed in my suffixes as ImageViewer, and  
somewhere these suffixes are read case-insensitive.  However, when I  
inspect a file with a .JPG extension I am not given the option of  
openning it in OmniImage.  This might be a problem since I've seen  
files with this extension and .GIF.  Hopes this makes some sense.
