Not getting images or sounds

I openned this file first with ImageViewer as the default to open  
.gif's and one of the images didn't open until I clicked on it.  The  
same thing happened yesterday in some pages of O'Reilly's GNN.  When  
I switched over to OmniImage everything worked fine.
