Obviously, OmniWeb registers cmd-U for its service (Open URL).  However, if  
this command key is claimed by another service provider first, the other  
service provider gets dibs on it.  One common service provider that claims  
cmd-U is TickleServices.  Cmd-U is bound to Unnumber Lines under  
Services->Tickle Sevices->Unnumber Lines.

If you like, you can use Preferences.app to overide the default keyboard  
equivalents for services and get cmd-U back for OmniWeb.  Otherwise, select the  
URL same in a mail message (or whatever) and click Services-Open URL instead...
