Hang. Maybe OmniWeb's fault

I'll preface this. I've never run a WWW client before. I have seen various
people running Windows Mosaic, and I must say that OmniWeb is engrossing. So
far it has behaved well for a beta program.

The well-noted sound "feature" is apparent even with a T1 connection through
CERFnet. The stuttering sound is not limited to SLIP connections. No too bad
though.

I have come across one bug not yet mentioned (I think). I was transferring an
MPEG from the NII hierarchy found on sunsite.unc.edu. The path can be found
starting on NCSA demo page. I clicked on the image and OmniWeb began grabbing
the MPEG. About 200K into the transfer, the connection halted, at least no
more information transferred. I pressed the ABORT button to no avail. OmniWeb
seemed frozen. I had a busy pointer when focused on the app, ABORT seemed to
do nothing, however the globe animation continued running.

After waiting a minute or so, I was able to kill OmniWeb through the standard
NeXT "Processes" panel. It is possible that my net connection gasped and
disrupted OmniWeb. We've been having problems all day.
