couple of points about the best application around

Time to chime in with a few comments. One is the simplest bug report in
the world:

you've mis-spelled "transferred" in the application :) Not a biggie, but
time after time it kind of gets to you :)

Second: I downloaded OmniImageFilter to use for InLine Images (I have
ImageViewer, but it's 0.9e not i, and I wanted to see the other fine
products by these great guys :) and I've found it's behavior a little
confusing. I just gunzipped and dropped it in /LocalLibrary/Services.
Then I access a document that has an in-line image I get a generic NeXT
executable Icon at the bottom of the screen, but it's half lit as if an
app is launching, and it remains half-lit for eternity. After I guit
OmniWeb it's still hanging around. So..... is this some sort of
installation failure on my part? There were no instructions other than
"drag and drop".

By the way, I run OmniWeb over a 14.4 SLIP line and it's quite tolerable,
although certainly not sprightly for images and sounds.

I showed it to a coworker who has a Mac Quadra and *tolerates* using a
NeXT on occasion. She's been rubbing it in how she can run Mosaic and I
can't. Of course, the history panel completely blew her away, "Why can't
I do that in Mosaic?" etc. Two hours later she was still poking away at
OmniWeb....

That raises one last question: it's really great that you guys have
provided what is already or will soon be (once you support forms and a few
other things) the best web browser around, but I know how hard it is
writing and maintaining such things, and I have to wonder what you are
getting out of it? Certainly *my* heartfelt gratitude, and lots of good
publicity, but is there something else we can do to make it worth your
while? Obviously, if ever I meet you the beer's on me :)

Thanks --- Tom
