OmniWeb?

Hi, Omingroup members:
It was really exciting to try out the features in
OmniWeb.app. I also discovered that we may use the Free Chinese font
(provided by Jackson Inc. from Taiwan) to read usenet news directly
off the Newsgrazer. I tried to do the same thing with OmniView, I
found there are some problems. First, the preference option is not
available right now. Therefore, I cannot change the default font for
the document view. Secondly, there seems to be some difference in
"big 5" symbol encription. I can not decode the "Chinese big 5"
document correctly. I hope that when the final release is delivered,
OmniWeb may include the capability to take care of double byte
languages.

The reason I brought this up is because that most other OS
can only support double byte language decoding with seperate binary.
This is certainly a major road block on the Information Super
Highway. If OmniWeb may take advantage of the multilingual
capability of NeXTSTEP, it would be such a giant step ahead of all
the X window system, Macs and MS Windows Products.

If there is any one else who is working on this issue, please
let me know. If I can help out testing some of the software, I will
be glad to help out.

Thanks
