Kate,
It's been a while since I played with Kinkless, but you might just try
re-installing the scripts -- did you check out the settings at the
bottom of the outline first?
Second, you should know -- and maybe you do -- that Kinkless went on
to become OmniFocus. I gather that Ethan Schoonover and the folks at
Omni hit it off so well that he is now head of their marketing team.
(It's so great to see real thinking and work pay off so well. I'm glad
for both sides of that deal.) So, in some ways, "Kinkless is dead,
long live Kinkless" -- it's just now OmniFocus.
The bad news FOR ALL OF US is that so far as I know, and I have an
iPhone and not an iPod Touch but I have to assume the software problem
is the same, iCal ToDos do not sync to either device. I know I was,
quite honestly, flabbergasted that when Leopard came that the only
ToDos that were to be found were those in Mail.
My hope is that while everyone is at MacWorld this week, the Omni
folks are throwing some long, hard, stares at the Apple folks.
(Alternatively, I hope they know something we don't and that this
feature is coming in 10.5.2 or iPhone 1.2 software.)
I bought OmniFocus, but my usage of the application really depends on
it syncing with my iPhone. For now, poor OF sits pining away unused in
my Applications folder.
I've meant to write Apple some feedback on this, but I've already
written in on AirDisk -- now that Time Capsule is out and proves it
can be done -- this week, and I only have so much time to point out
the obvious.
