Resizing graphics inserted into an Outline

Following on the question about inserting PDF graphics into an
outline, I was wondering whether there is any way to resize the
graphics that are inserted into an outline so that they print better
(within reason - obviously dropping in an A3 size image and expecting
it to print nicely resized to the page might be a but much to ask).

Is there any way to scale the graphics on printing so that they fit
the page better, or to actually resize the pasted graphics inline in
the outline?

Thanks
Grant
