I left the Palm platform awhile ago, but the most promising  
alternative seemed to be ShadowPlan on the Palm with some OOP-side  
scripting.  See http://www.codejedi.com/shadowplan/

(Disclosure: You'll find some old scripts that I wrote buried  
somewhere on the site.  I am not affiliated with the developer in any  
way save from being a one-time satisfied user who made the switch  
from a Palm to a Moleskine with OOP-generated index cards.)
