Hi Miraz,

I allready tried that. It works, but it doesn't survive an upgrade.  
Each time I override OO with a new version, the language is set back  
to the system default. Therefor I threw together a simple Automator  
action that finds and trashes the de.lproj-folder in the OO package.  
I think, this is essentially the same procedure as the Get Info way  
but allows me to bind it to a convenient shortcut keword  
('degermanize' ;-).
But perhaps I am missing something.
(Sorry if this is slipping in an off-topic finder/system direction)
