Try Automator for easing this task. I do this for removing the german  
language pack from the OO-Package as I prefer english over my default  
language setting (german). With an appropriate launcher (Butler,  
LaunchBar, Quicksilver etc.) you can melt down the procedure to a few  
keystrokes.
