Check boxes in styles

Being able to turn the checkbox into something I can actually SEE on  
the screen (as it was in OO2) would a really welcome addition. I use  
checkboxes in realtime during podcasts and the low visibility is  
really troublesome. I want the checkboxes to be huge and distinct in  
color (especially when checked).
