apple script and omnioutline

Dear  omni friends , 

I read in a apple script book , the  apple application which are either attachable are recordable 
they are the paragon of scriptability.But book does not mention the steps to do it for particular 
application or omnioutliner professional.Attached scripts run much faster than scripts that run 
as self contained applets.

I have  an  apple script which interract with a big size omnioutline document . Is there any way 
by which I can attach my apple script to this omnioutline document and run the script in a 
faster way , it is taking a long time .
