Breaking the Number Sequence

Is there a way to have OOPro (or regular, but I have Pro) skip  
sections in assigning row numbers?

For example, I'd like the following. This is pretty common for me, as  
the first section is introductory material, and I may have an un- 
numbered section in the middle for comments relating to the following  
items.

Level 1 Item
    level 2
1) Level 1 Item
2) Level 1
Level 1
3) Level 1

What OOPro does for me is to assign a number to each Level 1 item,  
and either show it or not:

Level 1 Item
    level 2
2) Level 1 Item
3) Level 1
Level 1
5) Level 1
