applescript for OPML export

Hey folks,
I've put together a way to make an OmniOutliner document (with some
extra columns), export it to an OPML document, pass the OPML document
through an XSLT file to make a LaTeX file which then can be used with
the beamer style to make a nice presentation.[1] The system right now
is clumsy, because I have to do each step by hand. I'd like to be
able to write an applescript to do all the steps with one click.
Unfortunately, I'm stuck at the first step. I can't figure out how to
export the file as an OPML document from OO3. The export method
doesn't work (OPML isn't a choice), so what do I need to do?
I tried checking the old archives, but nothing there seemed to do the
trick.
Any tips would be much appreciated,
Bill Rising
[1] Yes, this is too much effort --- actually I make an Rnw file so
that I can then run everything through R (a stats package) to make
the graphics needed for the presentation. This is what makes it
worthwhile.
