Project management and files

I am switching from Entourage back to Apple Mail, iCal, Address Book  
and OmniOutliner.

Everything is working well except for one process. When I have a  
project I use a file folder and put all pertinent files in that  
folder. They could be scanned PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, Word  
documents, etc. Entourage allowed one to view all the contents of  
that folder (file names only). If you dropped a file in the folder it  
automatically showed in the listing.

One can drop the folder into Outliner but when you add files to the  
folder later you have to manually update. Is there anyway you could  
automatically view all file names as individual line items and when  
you add a file to the folder it would automatically show in your  
outlinle? That way you wouldn't have to manually update it. The great  
part about OmniOutliner is that you can add information to your file  
name.
