Sorry, clear was the wrong term, your "lean-and-mean" was the one I 
wanted to express.
What I was "envisioning" was rather a tableless structure which with 
one css file
attached would result in the omni-outline-resembling presentation, and 
with another
result in the format you're requesting.

So instead of an find&replace, just a exchange of one css file, in the 
kind that
csszengarden does...

Also, if the resulting formatting was "clear" in the sense of 
predictable, than producing
some script/program for automatic transscription in the format needed 
would be quite easy.

But I am sure that the bright heads on this list already have conceived 
some cool AppleScript
etc. :-)
