Alternative HTML output

While the HTML output in version 3 is good, I find myself wanting
something simpler as an alternative. I use OmniOutliner for
structuring content which will be presented eventually in some other
format, usually HTML. While it's good that OmniOutliner makes an
effort to include some formatting tools I'm really only interested
in the inherent structure, not how it looks in OmniOutliner*.

Similarly, when I export from OO to HTML I am interested in the
/structure/ and not how it looks. I am most particularly NOT
interested in having the HTML output look as close as possible to
how the content looked in OmniOutliner. The code will almost
inevitably be inserted into an environment with pre-existing style
rules.

It seems to me that the natural HTML counterpart to simpler
one-column OmniOutliner content is not the HTML /table/ but the HTML
/list/. Indeed almost everything I export from OO is eventually
massaged into HTML lists.

It would be great to have a lean-and-mean HTML export which simply
put the text into HTML lists, with an additional option to ignore
all the formatting, colours, fonts, etc.

Whether this is achieved through an extra option in the export
dialog, or somehow using AppleScript, I don't care. It may even be
possible already, in which case I would welcome a pointer.

* This is a distinct issue from how the OO UI looks, which is
something I have already submitted my views about.
