.html suffix in HTML dynamics export

Why does OmniOutliner Pro add a .html suffix to the folder surrounding the items in an HTML dynamic export?

This simply makes it more likely that some browsers will expect a flat file and not find it resulting in an error.

Is there any way around this? Everything works fine if I remove the .html suffix from the folder, but that's just another step every time.
