Ver 3 Weaker graphic design distracts

While I can kind of see where people are coming from on the borders 
in OO3 (even though I very much like it and would even like the 
option to keep the border *on* around certain bits of the 
outline...), I have to put my vote towards the current style for 
checkboxes and bullets.  The aqua checkboxes in OO2 were extremely 
distracting and did not look appropriate on screen, never mind on 
printed documents.

Maybe on option to choose the shade of the checkboxes would be in order.
