OSX Dock

Just downloaded and installed Outliner 2.2.2. Clicking on its alias In 
the "Dock"  just makes the dock shake "No" - left to right motion, and 
the app. does not open. Clicking on a desktop alias opens the app and 
double clicking on the application icon, opens the app. just fine. But, 
nothing I have tried will make this app. behave properly in the Doc.  
The previous version behaved properly in the Doc. Any ideas?
