Question re speech functionality

I rarely use speech, but many text-based apps in Mac use speech from 
long time ago. I suppose some prefer listening while doing something 
else to reading.

You can copy fonts (command-3) and paste fonts style (command-4). 
This'll copy/paste font face, size, color, attributes (bold, underline, 
etc.) To copy paragraph formats (tabs, indents) use command-1, to paste 
paragraph format, use command-2.
