OO auto-save feature

Brian's answer didn't commit to auto-save because he has to be conservative.
  Brian very much wants this feature. Notice that he asked you to have anyone 
else let us know if they want this feature - that's so that he can beat others 
here over the head with how much people want it.

I can tell you that auto-save is considered important, we have been exploring 
auto-save options, and we have some ideas that I think go beyond what you 
are asking for. I just can't make any promise on exactly when this will appear,
  sorry.
