I think that the key words in that description is "NOTE: This
integration is a Windows-only thing; "

And from what I understand this is approximately the same or more steps
that is needed for a future version of Shadow desktop.

Exporting/importing from a Palm outliner to OO could be done in
following ways:

1 Have a Mac desktop application that can read the outline and
export to a format OO knows (= future version of Shadow)

2 Have a Mac desktop application that can be controlled using
    AppleScript (= BrainForest)

3 Make OO able to read the PDB file for a certain outliner

4 Write an application that understands the Palm outline format
and that can export/import to a format OO knows

5 Mac desktop application with plain text import/export

In my work with MPC <http://www.mootjelitt.com/mpc.html> I've tried to
get the defintions for a couple of the outliners but I haven't been able
to get it. So currently my best hope is Shadow ... since I have an early
alpha on my disk.
