We're not really sure what's going on there with the date formatter, 
but it's a bug, and we'll fix it in a future release. Thanks for 
bringing that to our attention. I'll also write up a feature request 
that we increase the degree of precision used for fractions of an hour.

Regarding the column type pop-up - do you mean that you're seeing the 
inspector section actually close itself, or are you seeing some other 
phenomenon. I did discover that selecting Type: Pop-Up will deselect 
the column that you're changing; while that's a bug, I'm not sure it's 
the one you were trying to report...
