column resizing on window resize

Either I don't understand what's supposed to happen with column sizes
when I resize an outline window or there's a bug. After I've
arranged my column sizes and resized my window so that there's room
to show all the columns, if I later narrow the window, the columns
(or at least the first one) get resized. In the case of the outline
I'm working on now, the first column (which is normally about 2"
wide) gets resized to about 1 character in width, with each row
spread down over many lines.

Is there someplace in preferences or whatever that specifies what
should happen to column widths when I resize the window (enlarge or
shrink)? At minimum I want to tell OmniOutliner to leave the widths
alone, but better would be choices such as:
	leave widths as is
	resize all columns proportionally
resize a specific column (such as a large "notes" field),
leaving others alone
resize all but a specific column (such as "title" column)
proportionally, leaving that column fixed
