Connect on Startup / No Notes on Export

Either its spyware, and phoning home to tell Omni everything you do ;) 
or its just checking for updates. Go to Preferences -> Update -> Set the 
radio button to "Manually". That should fix things.

No idea on that one. Guessing its a beta thing, and that they haven't 
figured out the best way to format things?
