editing/saving plists

I love the fact that I can open plist documents in outliner (was going 
to use this to get rid of IE and replace it with OW, but ended up using 
the Plisteditor app that comes with developer tools), but as far as I 
can tell, there's no way to save any changes you make:

Saving results in an .ooutline file
Export gives several options, including three for plain text, but I'm 
not at all sure which to use to preserve the proper plist format.

Perhaps "export as plist" could be added as an option??
