Pasting lists..

My query/idea:

I have a simple list of things to do that i have in a plain text 
file... the items are separated by line breaks.

I want to paste or import them into outliner so that each line is a 
new to-do item.

Any tips/hints? Or is this a feature request?

If I cut and paste the whole thing into outliner, it treats it just 
as one big to-do. Which makes sense, but is not what I want. Maybe 
there could be a modified paste option-control-V (or something) that, 
while pasting, converts the line breaks into new items? Or is this an 
import-type feature.
