Smart Distance Guides

Hello Everybody,

	Can someone help me understand what the "Arrange-Guides-Smart  
Distance Guides" command is supposed to do.

	The other guide listed in this menu item, "Smart Alignment Guides",  
does something very obvious when you move objects around. It shows  
when objects align in their centers, or edges, etc. But when the  
Smart Distance Guides is activated, nothing seems to happen.

	How is this guide supposed to work? When does one use it, and what  
feature does it serve? The Help isn't really of any help. It merely  
says "These are the smart guides that help you space out objects  
evenly." Wonderful - but how?
