Additionally, make sure you have the latest EFI update and the latest
version of OS X. Run Apple Menu -> Software Update . . .
I have seen some problems with the finder hanging (that have nothing
in particular to do with OmniGraffle) that seemed to get a lot better
with the latest updates.
