Hide/show layer actions?

Apologies if this has been covered before - is there a way to  
interactively hide and show layers in presentation mode (or with  
browse tool)? I have a series of mock-ups in OG I would like to demo  
interactively. I would love to be able to assign mouse click hide and  
show layer actions to an object so that I can simulate the action of  
buttons, object states etc.
