Exporting to PowerPoint Presentation

BTW, what's the right answer to this?  We get this all the time on a  
"communal" PC for presentations in an auditorium.  I'd like to do  
whatever it takes to address this.

When I run the Quicktime Updater to download additional components,  
it never says that anything's needed.  Do I need to purchase  
something commercially?  Is there a general download site for  
additional codecs?  I'm looking for more guidance than its current  
"you need something, go figure it out yourself, you bozo." message.  :-)
