I agree that the bezier curves need improvement. However, one thing I
have done to replace the lack of control, is to use more "artful"
drawings. I took your example you just posted and came up with this in a
matter of seconds.

It's not perfect, but only took me a few seconds to generate with OG Pro
using the addition and subtraction features.
