Do you still have the malfunctioning zoom section tool on your bug  
list?  The bug is still there in RC1.  I seem to remember it being  
mentioned on the list, but I may be mistaken.

Basically if you select the zoom tool, then click and drag, the  
selection box is offset from where you are dragging.
