Importing not possible?

Hi;

I just bought an OmniGraffle license (for OG 3.1.2) and have begun to 
explore the program. I counted on it that I would be able to import 
OmniOutlliner files so I could work with them in graphic form. But OG 
doesn't recognize any of my OO files; these files are all grayed out, 
so I can't select them for import. The best I can do is open an OO file 
and copy or drag its text to OG. But what I get is not an outline; only 
what amounts to a graphic of the text. Since this defeats a chief 
purpose I had for buying OG, I'm immensely disappointed.

But perhaps the problem is that I'm building OO files with the OO 3 
beta program? I've reviewed the archives but haven't quite been able to 
dig out this for sure. Any help in understanding -- and working around 
-- the problem would be much appreciated!
