how do i make an icon

Can someone point me on how to exactly make and or what I need to make 
an icon in OmnigrafflePro. There are some Cisco Icons that I need (yes 
I've already downloaded the ones available off of the OmniGraffle site) 
and I'd like to know how to make them so I can use them in 
OmniGrafflePro. Also, does anyone know where to get or have a lightning 
bolt icon so as I can represent a WAN link. I'd like to have the 
endpoints of the lightning bolt attach to magnets and be able to 
stretch as I move things around.
