Any OmniGroup comment on Core Image in Tiger?

It looks good doesn't it! However I have a horrible feeling that we will
have to go through the 'overuse' phase where the developers go mad with
it (Look Ma; to indicate an error I'm going to make the whole screen
ripple, and make it sepia!). Perhaps I'm a little jaded...
