Stability?

Has anyone noticed any stability issues in OmniGraffle 3.0.4?
I just experienced something awful, and I would've loved to be able to
strangle that little bomb icon. I'm drawing this circuit diagram,
nothing too fancy, but there were a lot of lines to this one object. So
I figured I'd start off drawing that object, then save it in a stencil
in case I needed to use it again in the future.
Slowly but surely, OmniGraffle kept getting weirder and weirder. First
it wouldn't group items unless I duplicated them, and grouped the
duplicates. Then it started ignoring magnets. But I managed to complete
the object, went to open a new stencil to drag it into, and OmniGraffle
beachballs. Then it quits.
After cursing aloud for a few minutes, I regained enough composure to
open some previous documents, and found that they, too, were ignoring
magnets. It's like they weren't even there--no pulsating highlight,
nothing. I searched through the app to find some checkbox or something
that could remedy this, but to no avail. I trashed Grafffle's
preferences, and things work well again, for now...
Anyway, does anyone have any explanation for how this could occur? I'm
running 10.3.3 on a 1 GHz TiBook. I do have some haxies installed, but
they've never given me the slightest problem before. I have no reason
to believe they're the culprit here.
Well, I hope someone can shed some light on this situation. I'm going
to go sob into my pillow for a few minutes, then finish my circuit
diagram with a pen. :)
