adding shapes to text imported from OmniOutliner

Hello everyone!!

Maybe it's because I'm new to this is why I can't figure this out, I would 
appreciate your help though.

1)I create a document in Omnioutliner 2.2 and save it.
2) I open it in Omnigraffle pro 3.0.2
3) Text appears, and is grouped accordingly- it follows the structure of the 
Omnioutliner outline, however there are no shapes around the bodies of text!

problem: I do not know how to then put boxes (shapes) around the text I've 
imported from Omnioutliner....and I cannot figure out how to do it!!!

question: how do I put shapes around the text imported from Omnioutliner?

I've searched the manual and archives and have found slightly similar 
questions, but haven't found any answers.  Thanks in advance for your time 
and your opinions.
